A botanical biotechnology company, not an extraction company.
Arceli means 'to refine, to purify.' We built a company around the second word.
The name comes from the Latin Arcelus. It wasn't chosen to sound scientific — it's the one-sentence description of what every person at this company does all day: take something nature already produced, and make it consistent enough for a formulation to depend on.
Arceli Lifescience is a biotechnology-driven ingredient company focused on discovering, purifying and standardizing high-value botanical actives for modern healthcare and wellness industries. Combining supercritical CO₂ extraction, proprietary purification technologies and formulation science, we develop branded ingredients that deliver measurable performance, exceptional purity and manufacturing consistency.
At Arceli, we believe the future of healthcare lies in identifying nature's most powerful molecules and engineering them into reliable, standardized ingredients that meet modern pharmaceutical standards. Headquartered at the foothills of the Himalayas — sourcing herbs and botanicals that have grown in this region for centuries — we integrate advanced extraction science, proprietary purification technology and formulation innovation to bridge the gap between botanical tradition and evidence-based medicine.
Built inside serious science, not around it
Arceli was incubated at CSIR — India's Council of Scientific and Industrial Research — before it was a commercial company. Every phytoactive we've standardized has gone through the same purification platform, not a one-off process built for a single customer.
Manufacturing sits where the plants already grow
Manufacturing is based in Dehradun, Selaqui, in the Himalayan foothills — the same region that's grown many of these botanicals for centuries. Sourcing where the plant already thrives, rather than shipping raw material to a generic industrial site, is part of why batch-to-batch consistency starts upstream of the lab, not inside it.
Arceli Lifescience
The same discipline, in every batch you'd receive.
Everything on this page is really one claim: that Arceli's standard for a botanical ingredient is the same whether it's batch one or batch six hundred. That's what incubation at a research institution, five certifications, and a purification platform built before the first product all add up to.
